These posts are used to support kiln shelves when firing. They are available in lengths from 1” to 20” to utilize the maximum stacking space in your kiln. They are extruded from high refractory material and are acceptable for use in any firing atmosphere up to Cone 10. For firing above Cone 5, we recommend 2” square posts. 11/2” or 2” square with fluted sides and hole in the center. Please specify 11/2” or 2” square.
